FERRO-ALLOYS PLANTS

One of the key points for a quality steel production is the correct dosage of the alloys and fluxes.

IES designs and supply ferro-alloys plants equipped with the modernest technology for the sutable handling and weighing of materials to be charged into the EAF and LF: carbon, lime, DRI, HBI, pig iron, alloys.

Our plants respect the most severe environment and safety parameters by the use of efficient dedusting plants, roofing and covers.

 

 

DRI RECEIVING, STORAGE AND BRIQUETTING PLANTS

DRI: IES has the knowhow for designing plants for the safe handling of DRI, material subject to self-ignition. In order to separate and recover DRI fines our plants can include screens and briquetting machines to produce CBI (cold briquetted iron).

HBI: We are expert also in bins storage, extraction, weighing and charging through the EAF V hole.

 

EAF SLAG RECOVERY PLANTS

Our plants permit to recover the EAF slag (black slag) changing a waste into gravel useful in many applications as e.g. in asphalts.

PLANTS FOR QUARRIES AND MINE INDUSTRY

We have more than 20 years experience in quarry plants. Our plants includes Jaw Crushers, Hammer Mills, Vibrating Screens, Rotating Screens, Hydrocyclones and other equipment for a complete inerts processing plant.

PNEUMATIC CONVEYIMG PLANTS

We employ the most modern technologies to convey powdered or granular materia pneumatically.

The dense phase conveying system permits a low consumption of compressed air, low conveying velocity that means lower pipes wear and reduced energy consumption.

Dilute phase system is reserved to few types of materials only.

If required our pipe lines will include wear resistant elbows, pipes and boosters (ceramic lining) for a low maintenance plant.

Our dispensers are optimized for carbon and lime injection into EAF.

EQUIPMENT FOR FLUIDS AND GASES, DEDUSTING PLANTS



Our production provides systems for silos inertization to prevent the ignition of fire.
The system is completely automated and managed by a PLC.
It is usually applied for DRI or Carbon storage.

DEDUSTING PLANTS

Our dedusting systems are specially designed for bulk material handling plants.

Depending on the technical features of the material we supply the suitable filtering elements with the aim to respect the most severe environmental laws.

Bag houses are completely automated and equipped with screw or chain conveyor for powder extraction and storage inside a silo or big bag.

BATCH PLANT GLASS INDUSTRY

We design and supply turn key Batch Plants for Glass Industry.

The plants, very similar to ferro-alloys plants for steel industry, are equipped with a very precise weighing and dosing systems.
